South America - Guyana
Due to numerous requests from ACTLABS' clients, and the response received from the Guyana Geological and Mines Commission (GGMC), ACTLABS decided to establish initially a preparation laboratory in GUYANA, South America.
This laboratory (500 square meters) is located at Parcel 29 Beterverwagting, East Coast Demerara. It has a large drying capacity of over 1200 samples per day, two complete sample preparation lines and an isolated section for soil samples .
From its inauguration in November of 2008, Actlabs Guyana has been processing mineral and soil samples for the major exploration companies in Guyana.
All samples prepared are either shipped to Actlabs main facility in Canada or to its sister lab in Tumeremo, Venezuela.
