June 21, 2010 - NEW Red Lake, Ontario Facility
New Actlabs laboratory in Red Lake, Ontario!
We are pleased to announce that our newest location, Actlabs Red Lake, opened for business on June 21st, 2010. This latest addition to our growing network of Northern Ontario laboratories (Thunder Bay, Geraldton, Timmins) will be a fully equipped gold lab.
This facility will include the following new equipment:

3 Fire assay furnaces (42 pot capacity)
·
2 Cupellation ovens (100 place capacity)
·
4 Terminator crushers
·
4 LM2 Pulverizers
·
1 Varian 240 Atomic Absorption
·
Gravimetric balances
·
State-of-the-art dust control system
Complimentary sample pick up is available in the Red Lake area.
The Lab Manager for Actlabs Red Lake, Evgueni Terentiev, brings many years of experience with him in mangement and operations, including managing the Actlabs Mongolia location for the past 6 years.
Temporarily, this lab will be offering a turnaround time of 10 business days or less; it will be faster once the installation of our Fire Assay and wet chemistry departments is completed, over the next 3-4 weeks. Until Fire Assay is fully installed, samples will be prepared in Red Lake and delivered the next day to our Thunder Bay facility.
